Raion is a 19 year old Demon Hunter and Mage, originally from the kingdom of Irae. He currently lives in Area 11. He is an RP Character of Freezing-Soul.
Appearance[]
Raion is fairly tall, and fairly thin. He has long, golden yellow hair. He also has green, almost blue, eyes.
Normally, he wears a dark blue t-shirt, under a long, unbuttoned black coat. Along with that, he wears black jeans and shoes. Occaisonally, he wears heavy white armor, with blue trimmings. With it, comes long blue cloth things coming from his waist. Raion is usually seen with his hands resting in his pockets, and smiles often.
Personality[]
Raion is a very playful and sarcastic person. He makes jokes a lot, and tries to keep things light even if he's in a bad situation. He's very care free, and rarely shows any emotion other than happiness, and the occasional annoyance. That of course doesn't mean he doesn't feel the other emotions, he just chooses to hide them, as he's normally seen by the people around him as the cheerful guy. In battle, he also has a code of honor of sorts. He doesn't do anything unhonorable like sneak attacks, or attacking his opponents while they can't defend themselves. This isn't because he feels bad for his opponent, he just feels like it would be insulting to himself if his opponent couldn't fight back.
Background[]
Raion comes from a long running family of Magi, and grew up in the Kingdom of Irae. His father, wishing to create the perfect Magus, infused him with Dragon Blood. This vastly increases his prana levels, gives him high magical resistance, and the ability to use Dragon Breath. His use of Dragons Breath is because he was given much more blood than Altria, who only possess enough for more reserves and magical resistance. Since he was born a human, and that hasn't technically changed, since even with dragon's blood, he isn't a Human/Dragon hybrid, he is allowed to be a Demon Hunter. Although that may just be due to the fact that his skills are so high that the Demon Hunter organization couldn't help but include him, as passing him up would be a massive loss for them.
Raion had little to no free time growing up, since his father was obsessed with training him to become a powerful magus. He rarely saw his mother or sister because of this, and had no time for any friends at all. Although he despised his dad for what he did, it certainly worked, since Raion is an incredibly powerful Magus as of now.
When Raion was around 14, his family,was killed by a demon directly in front of his eyes. Before it killed him however, members of the Demon Hunter Organization showed up. Many of them were slaughtered by the demon as well, but the sheer number of them sent after the demon caused it to eventually flee. The surviving Demon Hunters realized Raion's potential, and decided to take him in and train him even further. Raion was willing, as he wanted to become strong enough to kill the demon that had attacked his village and family.
As he was already stronger than most members of the organization, at just 14, he was trained by several of the most powerful members. He soon learned many new techniques, and improved his old ones as well. He quickly surpassed all but a few of those who trained him. Since then, hes killed hundreds, probably thousands, of demons and vampires.
Eventually, he managed to find the demon that slaughtered his entire village. Despite all the training he went through, and how much stronger he'd gotten, he was still unable to defeat it. He managed to escape without dying, but was still severely injured. After that, he began working even harder, and became even stronger. As he escaped the demon, he met a spirit, that helped to heal him. This spirit takes the form of a golden yellow cat, and is able to take the form of a lion, and after healing him, became Raion's familiar.
Nowadays, he himself isn't looking for the demon, but lives by himself, while having many of the Demon Hunters who work under him search for the demon for him, although not fight it, as they would surely die. They're instructed to tell him where it is, but under no circumstances attack it.
Raion has stopped hunting other demons, leaving that to lesser hunters. Currently, hes trying to settle down more, but will never fully do so until the demon that killed his family is dead.
Abilities[]
Raion has trained to be a magus and demon hunter his entire life, and also became a Mage later on. Despite this, he is incredibly powerful, thanks to how much time, effort and work has been put into his abilities. He is easily one of the strongest Demon Hunters in the organization, being passed up by only a few, and those few only surpassing him thanks to non-magus related abilities.
Physical Ability
Raion, despite his thinness, is actually quite strong. His strength far exceeds the usual limit of humans, and he is known to strengthen it even further through the use of magic. His agility and speed are nearly unmatched, as he is able to run dozens, if not hundreds, of times faster than the speed of sound. He can quite easily dodge or block things such as bullets. His reaction speed is also insanely high, being able to predict and react to movements in a way only matched by those who possess the sharingan. He is also very durable, and has high pain tolerance. He has been stabbed completely through by a sword before, and simply pulled it out, and used it to kill the one who had stabbed him. His endurance is completely inhuman, as hes been shown to fight for weeks, and even months with little to no rest whatsoever.
Dragon Blood[]
Raion's dragon blood allows him to have something called a magic core, instead of the usual magic circuits. Normal magic circuits act as a machine that creates magical energy, while Raion's magic core acts as an entire factory, giving him immense magical reserves. This allows him to use incredibly powerful spells, with almost no limit to their amount of use, as he produces magical energy so quickly that any he uses is replenished in almost no time at all. Dragon Blood also gives him a large resistance to magic itself, making weak spells completely useless against him. Stronger spells can still damage him, but the damage is greatly lessened.
Dragon Breath[]
Raion has the breath of an Ice Dragon. This allows him to fire blasts of incredibly cold wind from his lungs. This wind is strong enough to level large portions of forests or cities. At the same time, it is also able to freeze most things almost instantly. Raion has shown the ability to freeze an entire lake in a fraction of a second. The temperature of the dragon breath is as close to absolute zero as scientifically possible, so even if you aren't hit by it, being close to it is capable of giving severe frost bite.
Lightning[]
Raion's main elemental affinity is lightning, a sub element of wind. He is capable of producing and firing powerful lightning bolts, capable of leveling entire towns. He is able to mentally control the lightning, and allow it to completely disregard the normal rules of science that apply to lightning. He is also able to absorb lightning, be it natural, magical, or created from any other ability. Also, he is able to change his own body into lightning, allowing him to travel at the incredibly fast speed of lightning. Raion can also produce smaller electrical charges, that he can use to disrupt a target's nervous system, to paralyze them, manipulate the messages sent from the brain to the body, which allows him limited control of the person's body, or he can also caused the target to feel immense pain, tricking the brain into thinking it is being hurt. He can also use lightning to enhance the attack power of his weapons or strikes. Raion also commonly uses it to stimulate his own muscles, drastically increasing his strength and speed, in a similar way to Lightning Release Armor.
Knight of Honor[]
This is an ability possessed by Raion, that allows him to pick up almost any object, and turn it into an incredibly powerful weapon. For example, he can pick up a mere stick, use Knight of Honor to enhance it with his mana, and then use it to combat a legendary weapon such as Excalibur or Ea, on an even level. As said, this can be used on almost any object, unless the object is already a very strong weapon. For example, he would be unable to enhance a weapon such as Excalibur, as it is already incredibly strong. However, Knight of Honor would allow him to use Excalibur effectively, even if he himself isn't the owner. It also allows him to basically steal the Noble Phantasms of Servants, and have them become weapons of his own. This is permanent, unless the servant manages to take it back from him. No one else but the servant itself would be able to take it from him however.
Runes[]
Raion is a master at using Runes. Raion is capable of making permanent runes, and has several tattooed on his own body. These runes can do a variety of things, but Raion normally uses him to enhance his other abilities, or possibly give his allies a boost.
- Strengthening - A rune that Raion has tattooed on his hands. It greatly enhances his already inhuman strength, and allows him to easily shatter metals, and lift dozens of tons.
- Speed - Tattooed on his feet, allows him to move at incredible speeds, surpassing his normal speed, which is still superhuman.
- Hardening - Tattoed on his chest, gives Raion incredibly durability, comparable to a servant's. For example, if someone attempted to shoot him, the bullet would simply bounce off his skin.
- Senses - Tattooed behind his ear, covered by his ear and his hair. This rune increases his smell, hearing, and sight to superhuman levels. This allows him similar levels of these senses as Aku. Also allows him to see in all forms of light, infrared, x-ray etc..
- Blessing - A special Rune, created by Raion that, when inscribed on a weapon, gives it holy properties, and allows it to kill demons and vampires. It is also tattooed on Raion's hand, basically allowing him to kill demons with his bare hands.
- Nutrition - A rune on Raion's tongue, that allows him to survive without any food or water. It basically allows him to magically provide himself nutrition. However, he still eats, and only has this rune active if he needs to fight or do a mission for a very long time without breaks.
- Teleportation - This is a rune that Raion can put on objects or organisms that allows Raion to teleport the object or organism to him instantly. It also allows Raion to teleport himself to whatever the rune is placed on, similar to the Flying Thunder God Technique.
- Curse Break - Tattooed on his chest, breaks any curse or status affliction put on him. He can also cast it on others. It also allows him to transfer the curse to someone else if he so wishes.
Sacrements[]
These are spells taught to Raion by the Holy Church. These spells can be engraved on his Black Keys. They have multiple uses, and can be very powerful. Multiple can be engraved on each key, and Raion can choose which of them, if any, to use at a given time. There are also a few that don't use the Black Keys.
- Baptism Sacrament - Taught to all members of the Church. Allows Raion to exorcise Demons and Wraiths back to the world of the dead.
- Cremation Sacrament - Engraved on black keys, causes the target to burst into incredibly intense flames when pierced by the black key.
- Interment Sacrament - Engraved on black keys, causes the target to be petrified once they are hit with the black key. Petrification lasts only as long as the key is in contact with the target.
- Mummification Sacrament - Engraved on black keys, causes all the liquids in those pierced by the black key to evaporate.
Haki[]
Raion is able to use all three forms of Haki. The first form allows Raion to sense the presence of others, even if they are concealed from view or too far to see naturally. The user can also use this Haki to predict an opponent's moves shortly before they make them, thereby making the attack much easier to evade with enough skill. This prediction appears to the user as an image or brief "premonition" of what the opponent will do in the user's mind's eye, and the damage the user will take if the attack actually "hits". It appears that the more killing intent the enemy has, the easier they are to predict. Although, more skilled users can predict future moves whether there are ambient murderous intents or not.
The second form allows the user to create a force similar to an invisible armor around themselves. Similar to Tekkai, this Haki allows the user to defend against attacks that would otherwise cause them harm. Significant physical force can still overcome this defense, however. Naturally this "invisible armor" can be used as a weapon to strike others with. It can be used to augment the user's own attacks, projected ahead of the user as pure brute force, or imbued in weapons to increase their effectiveness. Any attack enhanced by Busoshoku Haki hits immensely harder than it would normally be without it.
The third type of Haki grants the user the ability to dominate the wills of others. The most common usage in the series so far is knocking those with weak wills unconscious. Whilst inexperienced users are restricted to merely overpowering the will of one individual or blindly knocking out weak-willed people around them, those with more expertise can pick out weak-willed individuals in a large group and knock them out without affecting those around them.
Resistance to Cold and Ice Manipulation[]
Raion, thanks to being from Irae, is immune to the cold. Cold cannot hurt him, and he barely feels it. This allows him to freely use his Ice Dragons Breath without hurting himself from the extreme cold. The level of coldness doesn't matter either, as even his Dragons Breath which is as near to absolute zero as possible, doesn't affect him. He also can't be frozen by any kind of ice, and can't receive frost burn.
Being from Irae Raion is also able to manipulate and create very powerful ice. The ice Raion uses is magical in nature, and absorbs much more heat than natural ice, basically meaning it is very cold. The ice itself is nearly impossible to melt, simply because it absorbs so much heat that it would likely put out the fire. The ice also has incredible density, and can quite easily break through steel.
White Dragon Slayer Magic[]
Raion is a Third Generation Dragon Slayer, and also has his abilities in this regard massively enhanced by his Dragon Blood, basically giving him a constant, passive Dragon Force boost. However, he can still activate Dragon Force as well to get even more of a boost. He's also able to boost his abilities with White Drive.
White Dragon Slayer magic allows Raion to take on the abilities of the white dragon, and bend light to his whim. Unlike normal Light Magic, this light has been described as Holy, and is much more powerful. Raion obtained this ability from being taught by a Dragon, and being implanted with a Dragon Lacrima. It's nearly impossible for Raion to lose energy, as Dragon Slayers are able to eat the element that gives them power to regain or power up, and there is light basically every where. It also means he can eat any light attacks used on him. As said, it allows Raion to manipulate Light and use it for many powerful attacks.
- White Dragon's Roar - Rai fires a large and powerful whirlwind of light from his mouth, with great destructive and piercing power.
- White Dragon's Holy Breath - A much larger, and much more powerful version of Rai's White Dragon's Roar.
- White Drive - A technique that amplifies his Dragon Slayer magic, and his physical abilities greatly. It appears to create an aura of bright light around Rai's body.
- White Dragon's Punch - Rai covers his fist in a sphere of light, then punches his target.
- White Dragon's Claw - Raion creates a sphere of light around his hand, and then fires it at his opponent. It then leaves a symbol where the attack struck, which restricts the movements of his target.
- White Dragon's Holy Blast - Rai covers his hand with light, then fires it as a ball at his enemy.
- Holy Ray - Rai first joins the open palms of his hands together, with all the fingers on one hand in contact with the corresponding ones on the other hand, and then separates his palms while keeping the fingers in contact through their tips. Light is generated in the hollow part between his hands, expanding from the holes between Rai's fingers. At this point, the White Dragon Slayer completely separates his hands, extending them horizontally at his body's sides as the light he generated takes the form of a large sphere, from which a number of white rays are fired towards the target(s), leaving their starting point in a curved trajectory to strike them. Foes are thus bombarded by a barrage of beams which inflict heavy damage, striking them in rapid succession.
- Holy Nova - Rai initiates this by bending his right arm backwards, the fist clenched, and extending frontwards a mildly bent left arm with tiny streaks of light gathering before the outstretched fingers from the surrounding area. He then rushes towards the target and punches them with his right hand, which is now covered in a very massive, horizontal column of light. This spell creates a large, impressive explosion on contact, which leaves Rai unharmed, but is seemingly lethal to the target.
Dragon Force[]
Being a product of the Third Generation of Dragon Slayers, Rai is capable of entering the most advanced state a Dragon Slayer can achieve at his will, without the need to consume strong, external sources of Magic. Upon entering this state, Rai's body becomes much more akin to an actual White Dragon's, with his whole body becoming cloaked in an aura of light even more brilliant than that generated by White Drive, and with pure white scales appearing to cover the outer edges of his face and extending down from the side of his neck to the rest of his body. These are shown to be more and more uniform as they get farther from the central portion of his body, which instead bear several scattered, distinct scales, elongated and placed diagonally. This, unlike White Drive, dramatically increases all of his abilities.
Familiar[]
Raion's familiar, unlike most, was not created by him. He often refers to it as a spirit, despite it not really being one. It was created by another mage a long time ago, but after the magus died, then it lived on it's own for awhile, before Raion found it. It is named Kiniro. It normally takes the form of a cat, but is able to take the form of an incredibly large golden lion. In it's lion form, it is incredibly powerful, fast, agile and durable. Kiniro's strength is enough for it to easily smash and rip through the strongest of metals, and it's speed is enough for her to easily keep up with Raion himself, unless hes in his lightning form. Kiniro can also use magic, and has very large magical reserves itself, as well as when it is supplied by Raion. The magic it uses is fire, and light based. She can create incredibly hot flames, able to melt any metal with ease. Kiniro's primary magic however, is light based. She can create very powerful beams and blasts of light, similar to those used by Caliburn and Excalibur. With Raion's powerful magical core supplying her, the power of these light attacks are on par with Excalibur as well, which is quite an amazing feat. Kiniro is also able to create powerful shields of light, able to defend from basically any attack. These barriers are basically unbreakable, especially when supplied with Raion's magical energy. She can choose how large these barriers will be, and what they will cover. Despite being female, Kiniro's lion form has a mane, and a very elegant one at that.
Mystic Eyes[]
Raion has the Mystic Eyes of Attachment. Raion is able to separate objects, and attach objects together as well. He can't use this on organic things however, like animals or plants. He often uses it to break the weapon of an opponent, making their weapon useless. He can choose how he wants to "separate" the object as well, for example, if he only wants to separate it into two parts, or if he wants to shatter it into hundreds of pieces. The durability of an object also determines how much mana needs to be used to separate it. For example, separating a powerful weapon such as Excalibur would take up a very large amount of mana, but if he were to separate cloth, the mana it takes wouldn't even be noticeable. He can also use it to put the objects back together if he separates them, or if they break by other means. For example, if a weapon of his breaks, he can easily repair it with his Mystic Eyes in no time at all.
Weapons[]
Black Keys[]
Black Keys are charms used by Demon Hunters to repel demons. They take the form of long rapier-like swords (although they are generally thrown as a dagger or used to stab opponents). They are considered to be symbolic and have weak attack power, but its attack power is still enough to pierce through concrete walls. The amount of skill required to properly wield them causes the Black Keys not to be used often. They excel at interfering with and damaging spiritual phenomena rather than damaging them physically. The effect on beings like Servants is minimal but they are very effective against the creatures that are being hunted down by the organization, like the Vampire's and Ghouls. If they hit the shadow of a target, the target will be unable to move their body, leaving them to the mercy of Raion. It could also be used to track down and seal or injure a target until Raion tells it to stop doing so, or unless it is destroyed or neutralized by an outside force.
Due to black keys having weak attack power, Raion is able to use Knight of Honor to make the damage output of them much larger, allowing them to rip any kind of metal to shreds with ease. Also, Raion is able to use a throwing technique called the Iron Plate Effect. This technique makes it so the black keys, instead of piercing what they hit, send the flying away with incredible blunt force. This force is enough to easily smash through metals, and can create shockwaves large enough to level entire buildings, or, when enhanced with Knight of Honor, can level entire city blocks with a single key.
Enkidu[]
Enkidu is a chain meant to bind the gods. The higher the divinity of the target, the stronger the chain becomes. One end of the chain is a handle, and the other end is a spearhead. Raion is able to telekinetically control the chain, and is able to shrink and elongate the length of the chain at will. If used against a target with no divinity, it is nothing more than a tough chain. However, since it isn't incredibly strong when used against a non godly opponent, he is able to use Knight of Honor to enhance it. This allows it to become nearly unbreakable, but still not quite as strong as when it is used against a divine opponent. When used against a divine being, it is obviously strong enough that Knight of Honor no longer works to enhance it. It can be used in two ways by Raion. The first is to bind the target, due to the chain being nearly unbreakable, it is incredibly effective at binding things in place, leaving them open for attack. The other use is as a weapon itself, as Raion can shrink the chain so it is usable as a weapon, and swing it be the handle, using the other end with the spear head to slash up his opponents. He can also increase it's range whenever he wishes, to catch opponents off guard. When used against divine opponents, or when using Knight of Honor with it, the blade of the spear head is very powerful as well, and can quite easily cut through any normal weapon or metals.
Excalibur Proto[]

even more powerful than the normal one. It is just as strong and durable as the normal Excalibur, easily slicing through any normal sword that it's put against, and being able to cut through the strongest of metals like butter. It is capable of firing light blasts just as Excalibur does, but it needs two conditions to be met to reach it's full potential, and surpass Excalibur. These requirements are that the Battle must be an honorable one, and that the opponent has to be stronger than the user. Without these requirements it is still able to level cities, but if these requirements are met, it is able to cause entire seas to evaporate within an instant. While normally, like Excalibur, the blasts fired from the blade are sent forward, like a large wave, when the conditions are met, and Raion chooses to unleash it's power, it causes an expanding pillar of light to burst from the ground around him, it expands larger than entire cities, and is so massive that it can be seen from space.
Caladbolg II[]

any target by creating a twisting distortion in space when fired. This allows it to pierce through nearly any defense put up to stop it. Even if it does manage to be blocked, it will create a massive explosion on impact with whatever managed to block it. It is believed that even if you try to teleport or dodge the attack, you could simply be twisted along with the space as well. It is possible to use it as a close range weapon, but it is only effective at stabbing or blocking other attacks. Raion mainly uses at long range, and throws it as if it was a spear.
Bible[]
A bible is very dangerous in the hands of a Demon Hunter like Rai. For one, it lets him have an unlimited number of Black Keys, a powerful weapon for the hunting of demons and monsters. It also gives him the power to give any weapon holy properties, allowing it to kill demons and the like as well. Finally, when a certain verse of the bible is spoken by Rai, he gains a massive power boost. This multiplies all of his abilities, not just the ones to hunt demons. This is of course very useful, as even without the power boost Rai is incredibly powerful, but with it he's nearly unstoppable.
