Bastion, the Golden Prince, is one of the four Great Conquerors of the new age and controls the majority of the Southern World as well as the Kingdom of Ra. His empire, the Sun's Fang aka the Vipers, is a devastatingly brutal legion of supernatural beasts.
As well as being the Great Conqueror of the Southern World, Bastion is also the 10th Magic King as well as the leader of the entire Mage's Association thus having it at his disposal.

Rule[]
Bastion's Thema is Imperium or "Rule" from the Superbia Archive, meaning that his magic is used to dominate and "rule" other. Bation's first and primary magic is nicknamed Stark Naked Magic, momentarily controlling all magic in the surrounding area and forcibly dispelling the magic. As such, Bastion possesses the strongest form of magicnegation, capable of even dispersing many Breakdown Phenomenons. However, unless his magic is stronger, he cannot negate the magic of those stronger than him. The only problem being that no single magic is stronger than Bastion's. Bastion is awarded numerous powerful abilities; one of which is the ability to copy other Magus' magic, even those from different Archives, Themas and occupation. Simply his grimoires rearranges another magic into something Bastion can use. This process to copy another's magic has three steps:
- "Concept" - Grasping the basic concept of the magic or Thema. Bastion must confirm both the name and execution with his own eyes and ears.
- "Understanding" - Understanding the foundations, the "genealogical tree" of the magic by learning the name of the magic's founder from a currently using Magus.
- "Reasoning" - Analyzing the magic's fundamentals and disassembling it's chemical structure, which simply means dismantling the magic's "nature" through the use of logic.
Fides[]
Bastion's second Thema is Fides and his branch of magic is Mantra Enchant from the Gula Archive, which stores his magic on a part of her body in the form of characters, greatly enhancing his physical abilities. In order to use Mantra Enchant, Bastion must first charge his magic with "significance", the most important factor of his magic. In other words, Bastion's feelings and particularly his determination greatly impacts the power of his magic. If his determination is weak, he will take massive damage instead.
Cavum[]
Bastion's third Thema is Cavum and his branch of magic is Nihilist from the Luxuria Archive. The magic centers around all consuming darkness and can return all of creation to nothing, including all seven Archives and the foundations of Magic itself. So far, Bastion has shown the ability to use this in the form of bindings which consumes and destroys everything in its path.

Bastion's fourth Theme is Faith and his branch of magic is High Speed Luminescence from the Invidia Archive, a branch of magic that allows Bastion to travel at light speeds.
